I was set free from the bondages that ensnared me.

I was part of the 60's scoop. I lost my father in a drowning accident. My mother turned to alcohol for her support. I was placed in a foster home at the age of 5. In the foster home I went through mental, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I was belittled and ostracized because of my nationality. Over the years, I was raped, abused and used by men. I had a low self-esteem and a lot of anger. I hated myself and I was full of shame.

After an attempt to commit suicide, and after years of self-destruction and failure, I was introduced to Jesus. Through Jesus, I found true love, grace, forgiveness and redemption. I was set free from the bondages that ensnared me. I learned to forgive the people that hurt me and God has brought restoration in my life. Praise God, I am Blessed!!
